One goal. Any way in.

A red team is a goal-based attack on the whole business: email, phone and the front door. We agree the prize with you, then a crew tries to reach it the way real attackers would, while your defenders do their jobs.

Why test it all at once.

Attackers don’t stay in scope

Real crews mix an email, a call and a walk-in. Separate tests miss how they join up.

Controls that pass alone

Each control can pass its own test and still let a combined attack through.

Defenders need the practice

The first time your team sees a real attack shouldn’t be the real one.

How the job runs.

  1. Choose the prize

Customer data, a payment approval, the server room: whatever matters most to you.

  2. Case the joint

Quiet research and planning, the way a crew would do it.

  3. Pull the job

Digital, physical and social engineering, adjusted as we go.

  4. Debrief

Every step, what your team saw and what it didn’t, and what to change.

When to call us.

  • When your security program is mature and you want to know it holds
  • After major investment in detection or a SOC
  • When the board asks whether you’d really catch an attack
  • Before renewing cyber insurance

On its own or all year?

Run as a single job, or continuously through the year. We agree the goal and the rules with you first.

Partners: For clients with mature security, a red team proves where the money is working and where it isn’t. Sell it under your brand.

Questions.

Who knows it’s happening?

A small group on your side that you choose. Everyone else carries on as normal, which is the point.

How is this different from a penetration test?

A penetration test finds as many weaknesses as it can in a defined scope. A red team has one goal and uses any route to it, testing how well you detect and respond as well as how well you prevent.

Name the prize. We’ll try to take it.

A technical account manager will agree the goal, the rules and who’s in the know.
